Board Terms
Terms finish at the end of the regularly scheduled Annual Meeting. See the document below for terms for each director.
Alternates are up for election at the end of the term of the person they replaced
Alternates will usually need to run for election again sooner than three years. This is as required by the bylaws. This may result in a term shorter than three years.
To nominate / run for director and be included on the ballot
Please submit your name to chocoruasb@gmail.com before the deadline. This deadline does not preclude running as a write-in. The deadline is annually 2 months before the annual meeting. Please ensure you receive a confirmation or acknolwedlgement of your nomination.

The community needs people willing to contribute their time and energy in practical ways. Serving as a director means rolling up your sleeves — not simply offering opinions, but doing the work that keeps a community strong. It’s how neighbors become stewards. We have a wonderful community and it needs people like you to keep it strong.

Chocorua Ski & Beach is run by your neighbors, giving their time to support the community. We don’t have office staff.
Email is typically checked once or twice a day.
Simple requests may be handled with a quick reply.
Questions needing input from multiple board members might take a bit longer as we connect with other board members for information or opinions.

INVOICES & DUES INFO
Overview
Your payments fund the ongoing operation, maintenance, and improvement of the Chocorua Ski & Beach Club community. This includes annual dues, approved assessments, and capital projects such as the bridge replacement approved by member vote in September 2025.
We are committed to transparency, consistency, and fair application of all financial policies.
Member Expectations
- Invoices are issued annually in October for the fiscal year (October 1 – September 30).
- Payments are due by November 15.
- Members are responsible for ensuring payment is received by the due date, regardless of delivery method.
- If you have an outstanding balance (arrears), your total due will include prior balances plus any applicable interest.
- Communication matters – if you are experiencing financial hardship, please contact us early to discuss options.
2025/2026 Invoice Delivery & Important Reminder
Invoices for the 2025–2026 fiscal year were issued on October 16 from a third-party billing provider (lbowden@debitone.biz). Because this may not be a familiar sender, some members may not have recognized the email.
- Please check your inbox and junk/spam folders for this message
- Follow-up communications were sent on October 17 and October 23
- Paper invoices were mailed in late December for those who did not receive or respond to the email
If you are unable to locate your invoice, please contact us and we will be happy to resend it.
Enhanced Communication Moving Forward
As of May 1, 2026, invoice reminders and account statements will be sent directly from QuickBooks to improve operational efficiency, accuracy, and transparency.

- Checks are deposited periodically (not daily), so clearing times may vary.
2. Online Payments (NEW – UniPay)
We are launching UniPay to provide secure and convenient electronic payment options:

- Venmo / PayPal
⚠️ Important:
- Processing fees apply to all electronic payments and are the responsibility of the member.
- Fees are charged by the payment processor (not the Association).
- Please use the calculator below to get the total amount to pay using this option.
3. Your Bank’s Bill Pay
You may also use your bank’s online bill pay service to send a check to the address above.
Please schedule payments early to ensure delivery by the due date.
